Henry Kiprono Koech is a Lecturer and Research Fellow in the Department of Environmental Science at Egerton University. He holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science and a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources Management, both from Egerton University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental and Occupational Health.
Henry has been part of the Department of Environmental Science since June 2013 and has served in various capacities, including as Examination Officer from August 2017 to December 2022. His teaching portfolio includes Environmental Risk Assessment, Statistics in Environmental Science, Disaster Management, Environmental Health, and Environmental Geology.
Henry's research interests focus on the interactions between environmental conditions and human health, and he has contributed to several publications and conference proceedings in this field. He is also actively involved in professional development, having completed various training programmes and certifications, and serves as a peer reviewer for the Pan-African Journal of Health and Environmental Science (AJHES).
