SUMMARY

Dr Augustus Muluvi holds a PhD in Economics specializing in Trade and Development Economics and a Master’s degree in Economics both from Dar es Salaam University and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Sociology) from Egerton University. Dr Muluvi is a Senior Lecturer was the Chairman of economics department between 2020 and 2023. Since 2023, Dr Muluvi is the Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

Dr Muluvi has extensive experience in both teaching and research acquired both in Egerton and in other government institutions. Dr Muluvi has extensively published in different journal on trade, agriculture and other related areas. In addition, Dr Muluvi has participated in various government taskforces to advice on public policy research.
